"I'd hate to -" Steve sputters a bit when he's splashed, raising a hand to try and stop his sunglasses from getting covered in water. "I'd hate to embarrass you if I joined in."

He takes off his glasses to dry them off, but doesn't seem inclined to move to join them in. Steve's more than happy to just keep enjoying his beer and fondly watch the two idiots in his pool.
